I thought I would post some photographs of mine that just make me smile. I’m featuring animals and people today. Hope you ENJOY the show. By the way, the balloon twister with the magenta hair is Chris. I love the little boy concentrating on what she is making with the balloon.

The My Parents Drugged Me! – Anonymous (see below) was initially found at both DiDi-licous blog and The Conservative Hillbilly blog and I’ve reblogged it here.
How many us are still hooked on being drugged by our parents (or anyone else)?
I know at times I still struggle with the being drugged. The most potent drug my parents instilled in me is that I’m not good at anything or I never stick to anything longer than a year. Even though I’ve been in a relationship for over 22 years. When I worked I stayed no less than 4 years, unless I was contracting. I’ve been in love with photography forever and serious now for five year. I’ve been practicing some kind of energy medicine for over ten years. I had my first car for 18 years. The list is endless. But yet there are times, I just can’t break that cycle.

I would love to recapture the innocence and wonder of children.
My Parents Drugged Me!
“The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question: “Why didn’t we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?”

Today I thought I would post some photographs from on of the cruises Chris and I have taken on the Sternwheeler on the Columbia Gorge. The Columbia Gorge is one of the most beautiful places here in the Pacific Northwest. The Columbia River separates the states of Washington and Oregon. We also went under the Bridge of the Gods. I hope you enjoy the show.

I noticed some bloggers post the “how it works” section and I thought it was a good idea.
Here’s how it works:
1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″tag.
3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

Have you ever had a day where you just didn’t know where to begin with your blog? I’m having one of those days. It’s the end of the week and I’m out of ideas. I’ve worked hard this week and I’m worn out and tired. I thought of some ideas, but they all seem to hard to think about, write about, or find a photograph or two to go with it. So I think I’m going to search for a quote and come up with a photo or two from my library that might go with the quote.
“I do not exist to impress the world. I exist to live my life in a way that will make me happy.”
― Richard Bach, Illusions
A couple of photos come to mind when I saw this quote. Animals who always seem to be happy. Here are two young alpacas that I took a couple of years ago, when the owners of the alpaca farm let both Chris and I in to photograph them.

The other two photos that I’m thinking off, I took at Swan Island Dahlias. One of my favorite places in the whole world. Those of us who get to participate in our passions are truly living a blessed and happy life.
