I received the nomination for this uplifting award by Jakesprinters. Jake’s 3D graphic work is outstanding. I am amazed at his talents and very much enjoy his blog. It always makes me smile.
You ask, “What is The Candle Lighter Award?” This award was founded by Kate Kresse whose blog is Believe Anyway. Whenever Kate sees a blog that I she believes think brings light to the world she grants this award. It is now being passed on to other people who keep passing it on. I love this idea. It just grows and lights up more of the world. The candle below is Kate’s award.

Since I am a photographer and pictures are how I talk. Here is an upload for today, January 1, 2012. Happy New Year everyone. This photograph was taken at Ft Stevens, Oregon, USA. It is where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. The water on the right of the barrier is the Columbia River and the water on the left the Pacific Ocean. It’s an awesome view.
